Discover an exceptional 6-year-old single malt, endowed with the complexity and maturity of a Scottish Speyside over 40 years old: such is the prestigious heritage of this unique whisky from Taiwan. Aged under a unique subtropical climate that remarkably accelerates the maturation process, the Kavalan Sherry Cask stands out with a deeper and more intense color than most traditional Scottish sherry cask single malts. With the notable exception of the legendary Black Bowmore 1964/1994, it shares rich and rare nuances, blending rancio and fruity notes, leaning towards unforgettable exotic touches. Exclusively imported and distributed by Maison du Whisky, this gem from Asia is available exclusively on the French market as well as in several European countries.

Produced from crystal-clear spring water drawn from the Hsuehshan Mountains ("Snow Mountains"), the Kavalan Sherry Cask is part of the prestigious Solist range, which groups the best cask-strength bottlings selected by the distillery. This single malt is aged exclusively in oloroso sherry casks, then hand-bottled, without dilution, without caramel addition or chill filtration, guaranteeing a rich, exotic whisky with great aromatic complexity. Highly awarded, it notably won the title of Best Rest of the World Single Malt at the World Whisky Awards in 2011.

This bottle belongs to the SOLIST Sherry Cask range no. S081224006, vintage 2008, bottled in 2017 at an exceptional strength of 59.4%.
