The house has developed an exclusive collection, the Finish Collection , which highlights original refinements in barrels that have contained great wines or spirits. The XV Tawny Port Finish edition is a perfect example, marrying the typical richness of Panamanian rum with the fruity and sweet elegance of a Port aged in oak barrels.
Aged for 15 years in American oak barrels, this rum is then refined in Tawny Port barrels, providing additional complexity and a unique aromatic palette. This double aging gives the cuvée a remarkable balance: the woody and warm structure of the rum blends with the fruity roundness of the Port, creating a subtle harmony between power and sweetness.
Its intense mahogany color, with ruby highlights, announces a beautiful depth. The nose reveals a generous bouquet of ripe cherry, fig, red fruits and berries, supported by woody, vanilla and lightly roasted nuances. The palate, ample and silky, deploys flavors of candied fruits, bitter cocoa, honey and a hint of licorice.
