Today represented by the fifth generation, the family is present in all stages, from planting to distillation. The company is committed to preserving traditional production methods and the culture of local communities in the region. It works closely with local producers to produce mezcal in a sustainable way, using environmentally friendly methods and contributing to local economic development.
This Mezcal is made from maguey Tobalá , of the Potatorum agave variety. The Tobala agave is a small variety of agave that can take up to 12 to 15 years to reach maturity. Due to its small size and rarity, it often takes a lot to harvest to produce a small amount of mezcal. The harvest took place in 2016, and 215 bottles were produced for this 22nd edition.
