Whisky GLEN MORAY - Fired Oak - 10 years - 40%
Glen Moray is an iconic distillery located in Elgin, in the heart of the prestigious Speyside region in Scotland, globally recognized for its refined and authentic whiskies. Originally founded as a brewery under the name Elgin West Brewery, it was transformed into a distillery in 1897 with the installation of two traditional stills. After a temporary closure between 1910 and 1923, the distillery was bought and relaunched by the MacDonald and Muir families, who also own the famous Glenmorangie distillery. In 1958, Glen Moray acquired two new stills, increasing its production capacity to about 2 million liters per year. In 2008, it joined the La Martiniquaise group, a major player in the spirits market in France and internationally.
Glen Moray Fired Oak is an exceptional Single Malt, aged for 10 years. Its maturation begins in exquisite Bourbon casks, known for bringing sweetness and depth to the whisky, before a unique finishing of 4 to 6 months in new American oak barrels subjected to extreme charring. This double maturation gives this whisky an incomparable aromatic richness, marked by delicate notes of vanilla, warm spices, and smoky wood.
Aromatic profile: Smoky, woody, vanilla, with a warm and persistent finish.
