Ron Millonario is a prestigious brand owned by Rossi & Rossi S.R.L., based in Treviso, Italy. Its history begins in 1904 in northern Peru, with the founding of the Hacienda Agrícola de Chiclayo, nicknamed the "city of friendship." At that time, a group of farmers had come together to exchange their sugar and had built a small artisanal refinery. In 1922, the Peruvian landowning family Piera de Castillo acquired the hacienda, the refinery, and the vast sugarcane plantation, previously owned by the Gutiérrez family. In 1933, Don Rolando sent his eldest son Augusto to study chemical engineering at the prestigious University of Cambridge. In the summer of 1938, a ship bound for Peru left London carrying precious sugar mills as well as a Scottish column still, specially designed for artisanal distillation. The iconic Ron Millonario brand was born in the 1950s. In search of excellence and innovation, Fabio Rossi arrived in Peru in 2004 and discovered the treasure that Ron Millonario represents, an exceptional rum with a rich heritage.

This rum is the result of a slow and careful fermentation of sugarcane molasses, followed by meticulous distillation using traditional techniques. Its maturation takes place over 15 years in selected oak barrels, carefully blended according to the Solera aging system method, guaranteeing incomparable aromatic richness and refined gustatory complexity. Each bottle is carefully wrapped in natural Toquilla palm fibers, handwoven by artisans from the town of Catacaos, near Piura, in northern Peru.
