The Arran Malt is a prestigious Single Malt distillery located on the beautiful Isle of Arran, on the picturesque west coast of Scotland. Renowned for producing a wide range of exceptional whiskies, this distillery offers unique expressions and refined finishes. Founded in 1995 in the northern part of the island, at Lochranza, near the Loch na Davie – the pure and crystalline source supplying the distillery – the company combines tradition and modernity. Originally, the grist (ground malt intended for brewing) was purchased, but now an integrated mill ensures optimal quality and full control of the production process. Arran malt is distinguished by its fresh, delicately tangy character, the result of slow and controlled distillation thanks to its unique stills, which impart exceptional aromatic complexity.

This remarkable expression from Arran is an exclusive bottling specially created for La Maison du Whisky. Coming from a Single Cask number #1996/1132, this whisky was distilled in August 1996 and then carefully aged for 24 years in a Bourbon hogshead cask, allowing deep maturation with balanced vanilla and woody notes. Only 253 bottles were produced, making this vintage a rare and prized collector's item.
