Teeling Distillery is an exceptional Irish whiskey distillery located in the heart of Dublin, Ireland, established in 2015 under the aegis of the Teeling Whiskey Company. Founded by the passionate Jack and Stephen Teeling, sons of the illustrious John Teeling, a pioneer who created the Cooley distillery in 1987, this house continues a prestigious family heritage. Both gained valuable expertise at the Cooley distillery before it was sold to Beam Inc. (now Beam Suntory) in 2011. Following this sale, Jack, then CEO, left the company while Stephen stayed for another year. In this context, the Teeling brothers negotiated the acquisition of 16,000 barrels of aged whiskey, an essential base for launching the Teeling Whiskey brand in 2012, a venture Stephen soon joined, now embodying the excellence of artisanal Irish whiskey.
The Brabazon Bottling series is a prestigious and limited collection of rare Irish Single Malts, perfectly illustrating the complexity and aromatic richness conferred by careful aging in . For the Brabazon Bottling Series 3, Teeling collaborated with a winemaking family recognized since the 18th century in the renowned Jerez region of Spain, specialists for over 300 years in cultivating the noble grape variety Pedro Ximénez. Thanks to this unique alliance, authentic Pedro Ximénez casks, aged for nearly 90 years in their traditional bodega, were used. These rare casks were then filled with a Teeling Single Malt distilled in 2005 and carefully refined for more than 3 years, offering an incomparable tasting experience rich in sweet and complex notes.
