Teeling Distillery is a renowned Irish whiskey distillery, established in the heart of Dublin, Ireland, in 2015 by the dynamic Teeling Whiskey Company. Founded by brothers Jack and Stephen Teeling, heirs to a long family tradition, as their father John Teeling had already created the famous Cooley distillery in 1987. Jack and Stephen gained valuable experience working at Cooley before it was sold to Beam Inc. (now Beam Suntory) in 2011. Following this sale, Jack Teeling, then managing director, left the company, while Stephen stayed on for a time. During this transaction, the Teeling brothers negotiated the acquisition of 16,000 barrels of already aged whiskey. Leveraging this strategic asset, Jack Teeling launched the Teeling Whiskey brand in 2012, soon joined by his brother Stephen, to continue and enrich the heritage of authentic and innovative Irish whiskey.
Teeling Small Batch is an exceptional blend, crafted from a rigorous selection of grain and malt whiskey barrels. The blend is initially matured exclusively in American bourbon barrels, imparting soft and vanilla aromas, before being carefully assembled for a unique final aging in Central American rum barrels for up to 12 months. This double maturation brings a unique aromatic richness, combining the exotic sweetness of rum with the characteristic complexity of Irish whiskey.
