The Savanna distillery, born from the passion and vision of Emile Hugot between 1948 and 1950, quickly established itself. A graduate of the École Centrale des Arts et Manufactures in Paris, Emile Hugot became a key figure in the international sugar industry. From 1982 onwards, thanks to a strategic contract, the Savanna distillery elevated the quality of its rums to excellence, becoming the first European distillery certified ISO 9002, a mark of prestige and reliability.
