GLENDRONACH - 12 years - 43%
GlenDronach is a world-renowned Scottish Single Malt from the charming village of Forgue, near Huntly in the iconic Aberdeenshire region, in the heart of the Highlands. Founded in 1826 by James Allardice, the GlenDronach distillery is located in a historic setting, with the majestic Glen House, built in 1771. Known for the richness of its heritage, the GlenDronach distillery has endured through the ages, changing owners several times before joining the Teacher and Sons group in 1960, famous producers of Scottish blends.
After a period of closure in 1996, GlenDronach was relaunched in 2001 by Allied Distillers, then joined the prestigious Chivas Brothers group owned by Pernod-Ricard in 2006, before being acquired by the Benriach Distillery Company in 2008. Since 2016, the distillery has been part of the portfolio of the giant Brown-Forman, alongside Benriach and Glenglassaugh, ensuring the continuity of craftsmanship and the pursuit of excellence.
The GlenDronach 12 years appeals to whisky lovers with its exceptional maturation in a subtle blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks imported from Spain. This single malt is bottled respecting authenticity, without chill filtration and without added coloring, allowing it to offer all the complexity and aromatic richness typical of the greatest Scottish whiskies.
