Barbancourt is an iconic premium rum brand, produced in Haiti by the prestigious Société du Rhum Barbancourt S.A. Founded in 1862 by Dupré Barbancourt, originally from Charente in France, this house continues the tradition of excellence using the ancestral technique of double distillation, inspired by cognac craftsmanship, as well as meticulous aging in Limousin oak barrels. In 1949, the distillery was moved to the heart of the sugarcane fields of the Barbancourt Estate, located in the fertile Cul-de-Sac plain. Since 1952, the factory has produced its rums from sugarcane grown on its own plantations, using only pure cane juice according to a traditional method passed down from generation to generation for over 160 years, guaranteeing incomparable quality and unique authenticity.
