Héritiers Madkaud - White Rum - Clos des Spiritueux - 50%
The Madkaud Rum is a traditional agricole rum distilled and bottled exclusively in Martinique, a land renowned for its high-quality rums. Created in 1895 by Félicien Madkaud, a descendant of Martinican slaves born free in 1857, this rum embodies a family heritage of excellence and authenticity. Initially produced by the historic family distilleries of Fond-Capot (Carbet) and Carabin (Lorrain) between 1895 and 1970, it is now distilled at the multi-brand production site in Sainte-Marie. Today, Stéphane Madkaud, direct heir of Félicien, continues the tradition as a committed owner maintaining the quality and prestige of the brand.
The White Rum Clos des Spiritueux is an exceptional agricole rum, made exclusively from pure sugarcane juice, guaranteeing a tasting without blending, additives, artificial flavors, or added sugars. Launched in 2012, this prestigious cuvée pays tribute to Lieutenant General Jean-Charles de Baas-Castelmore, Governor General of the French Antilles and musketeer of Louis XIV, who was the first occupant in 1674 of the Fond Capot estate, the historic cradle of the Madkaud house. This artisanal white rum, rich in natural aromas and finesse, is ideal for making the best Ti-Punch, the emblematic cocktail of the Antilles, combining tradition and local know-how.
