Château de la Tour - Fine de Clos Vougeot 1979
The Château de La Tour stands out in the heart of the prestigious vineyard of Clos de Vougeot, located in the Côte de Nuits, in the famous wine region of Burgundy. Owned by the Labet and Déchelette families, the estate has been under the direction of François Labet since 1984. Spanning 5.5 hectares of vines ideally located on the middle and upper slopes of the Clos de Vougeot, it is today the largest landowner of the Clos, recognized for its 50 fragmented hectares among several prestigious Burgundian estates. Since 1992, the Château de La Tour has committed to environmentally friendly viticulture with certified organic farming. Its most remarkable plot is planted with century-old vines, intended for the famous Cuvée Vieilles Vignes, representing the excellence and authenticity of the Burgundian terroir. Built in 1890, the château now houses the wine cellar of Château de la Tour as well as those of Domaine Pierre Labet, thus adding to its historical and viticultural renown.
The Fine de Bourgogne offered by Clos des Spiritueux is a rare eau-de-vie, obtained by artisanal distillation of wine or its lees, offering a unique expression of the vineyard. Choosing the Fine de Clos Vougeot 1979 means appreciating an exceptional spirit, marked by the finesse, complexity, and elegance of the greatest terroirs of Burgundy.
