The Glenfarclas distillery is ideally located in Ballindalloch, in the heart of the prestigious Speyside region in Scotland. Renowned for its traditional craftsmanship, this iconic distillery began operations before 1791 and obtained its official license in 1836 under the direction of Robert Hay. On June 8, 1865, it was acquired by John Grant, and since then, it has remained a family-owned business, carefully held and managed by his descendants, thus ensuring unique continuity and artisanal quality.

In 2007, Glenfarclas launched the prestigious The Family Casks collection, an exclusive series of 43 Single Cask bottlings, with an annual edition ranging from 1952 to 1994. This exceptional collection now extends up to 2001, although stocks of casks from the 1952 and 1953 vintages are now depleted. Each bottle reflects the authentic character and controlled aging that make Glenfarclas renowned.
