Gigi en Provence is a prestigious artisanal gin brand, born from the expertise of Vignobles Austruy (La Commanderie de Peyrassol in Provence, Château Malescasse in Bordeaux, Quinta da Côrte in Portugal, and Tenuta Casenuove in Italy). This exceptional gin was meticulously crafted in collaboration with Philippe Laclie of the renowned Distillerie Bercloux. Made from the wild and authentic herbs of the Maures massif, it perfectly embodies the French terroir.
The alcoholic base comes from carefully selected wheat from organic farming, ensuring a natural and environmentally friendly product. The unique gin recipe combines carefully chosen botanicals: juniper berry, rosemary, lemon zest, coriander, olive oil, maniguette, and violet, offering a subtle balance of freshness, sweetness, and character. These herbs are macerated for at least 24 hours in wheat alcohol before being slowly distilled in a traditional Stupfler still over very low heat, thus preserving all the finesse and richness of the flavors.
