The GlenAllachie is an iconic distillery located in Aberlour, in the heart of the prestigious Speyside region of Scotland, world-renowned for its exceptional single malt whiskies. Founded in 1967, the distillery began production in February 1968 with an annual capacity of about three million liters of pure alcohol. After a pause starting in 1985, it was acquired by Campbell Distillers, then part of the Pernod Ricard group, allowing continuous production to resume from April 24, marking the start of 29 uninterrupted years of manufacturing. Formerly nicknamed "The Home of Clan Campbell Whisky," GlenAllachie has positioned itself as a key player in the whisky world. In 2005, Chivas Brothers expanded the range with the launch of the GlenAllachie Single Malt in the famous Cask Edition series. Since 2017, under the guidance of renowned master blenders Billy Walker, Trisha Savage, and Graham Stevenson, the distillery has been managed by The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited, leveraging over a century of know-how and expertise to produce exceptional whiskies that blend tradition and innovation.
GlenAllachie 15 years Tawny Port Pipe is an exceptional single cask from a unique barrel (#867) matured in a Tawny Port cask, imparting an intense and complex aromatic richness. This whisky was distilled on April 19, 2006, and bottled 15 years later, in July 2021, with a remarkable strength of 61.3%. This limited edition comprises only 676 bottles, making each bottle a true treasure for collectors and discerning enthusiasts.
