Huzhujinquan - Jiu Hai Bu Gan - Tibet Single Malt - 3 years - 42%
\nOn the Tibetan Plateau, in the shadow of the famous Ta'er Monastery, the Huzhujinquan Distillery reveals the authenticity and excellence of the first Single Malt from Tibet: Jiu Hai Bu Gan. Made from exceptional Tibetan barley, globally recognized for its unique quality, this whisky is carefully malted, ground, and fermented using ancestral indigenous yeasts, carefully preserved away from the monastery. A true gem of Tibetan spirits, it is combined with the purest and softest water directly from the crystalline rivers of the Himalayas, for a distillation and aging of rare nobility.
\nThe distillation of malted barley is a millennial Tibetan tradition, practiced for over 400 years. This ancient discipline ensures that the alcohol coming out of the still remains clear and transparent until bottling, where its crystalline purity symbolizes impeccable quality. To preserve this essence, the distillate is kept in a porcelain amphora, called "Jiu Hai", before its final bottling. This very slow maturation, which uses kaolin amphora walls, extends over the years, softening and refining the alcohol. The result is a smooth, almost creamy flavor, enriched with a subtle citrus freshness. Today, the Huzhujinquan Distillery perpetuates this precious ancestral method and, depending on the range, the spirit is aged between 3 and 50 years in these unique porcelain amphorae, the "Jiu Hai".
\nJiu Hai Bu Gan Craft White is the result of traditional distillation followed by a slow and rigorous maturation of at least 3 years in a terracotta amphora. This Single Malt stands out for its crystalline color, shining with purity, a faithful reflection of the immaculate fresh water from the Himalayan mountains. An exceptional whisky, with a delicate and refined character.
