Père Labat is an iconic brand of agricole rums from the exceptional island of Marie-Galante, renowned for the quality of its productions. The fascinating history of this distillery dates back to the 18th century, when Madame Poisson acquired the estate, then a simple sugar factory located in the heart of Marie-Galante. At the beginning of the 20th century, Mr. Rameau, a visionary new owner, modernized the site by installing a traditional still and a red copper Creole column, thus transforming the sugar factory into a renowned distillery. These major investments allowed the Poisson distillery to perpetuate the ancestral art of distilling fresh cane juice, paying tribute to the pioneer of the process, the famous Père Labat. It is in this tradition of excellence that the "Père Labat" rums were born, recognized for their finesse and authenticity, embodying the unique know-how of the rum makers of Marie-Galante.

Gold is an exceptional amber rum, patiently aged in French oak casks for 3 years. This aging imparts rich, subtle, and harmonious aromas to the rum, blending woody and spicy notes, revealing all the depth and complexity characteristic of great agricole rums. This prestigious product will delight enthusiasts seeking an authentic and refined tasting experience.
