Brugal is a prestigious rum brand originating from the Dominican Republic, globally recognized for its exceptional quality and unique expertise. Founded in 1888 by Don Andrés Brugal Montaner, a Spanish entrepreneur who acquired advanced knowledge in the art of rum distillation in Cuba, the Brugal house has been firmly established in Puerto Plata. This family distillery has upheld for over a century an artisanal and authentic tradition of crafting exceptional rums. In 2008, the Scottish group The Edrington Group took a majority stake in Brugal & Co., while ensuring local production in the Dominican Republic and maintaining the active involvement of the Brugal family in the governance and management of the company.

Colección Visionaria Edition 02 is deeply inspired by the rich coffee culture of the Dominican Republic, a central element of the national gastronomic heritage. Master blender Jassil Villanueva Quintana created a rum that captures the essence of the convivial "cafecito" moment, an iconic social ritual where friends and family gather to share a moment of pause and pleasure. This exceptional rum benefits from a unique aging process in toasted barrels enriched with organic Caribbean cacao beans, bringing subtle and delicate notes that enhance the aromatic complexity and rich taste of this outstanding spirit.
