Dewar’s is an iconic brand of blended Scotch whisky recognized worldwide. Founded in 1846 by John Dewar, Sr., it quickly rose to become a market leader thanks to the expertise of his two sons who were able to perpetuate and develop its heritage. Dewar's is famous for pioneering the innovative "marriage" process, a unique technique that involves blending several whiskies in oak casks so that the mixture matures and harmonizes as a single blend. After this step, the blend is transferred to an additional oak cask where it ages further, giving this whisky a finish that is both smooth, rounded, and remarkably robust, ideal for discerning enthusiasts.
