GLENFIDDICH - Malt Master's Edition - 43%
Glenfiddich is an iconic distillery located in Dufftown, the heart of the famous Speyside region in Scotland, a region worldwide renowned for its exceptional whiskies. Founded in 1886 by the illustrious William Grant, who personally oversaw the construction with the valuable help of his nine children, Glenfiddich embodies traditional Scottish craftsmanship for over a century. Facing the American Prohibition of the 1920s, which disrupted the whisky industry, Glenfiddich managed to turn this crisis into an opportunity. Being one of the few distilleries still active at the end of this difficult period, it not only maintained its production but also strengthened its dominant position in the American market after the repeal in 1933. This historical resilience helped forge Glenfiddich's international reputation, a symbol of Scottish Single Malt. During the industry's decline in the 1960s and 1970s, Glenfiddich again reinvented itself, investing in production and launching innovative marketing campaigns to promote its whisky in its famous triangular bottle, which became a true symbol.
The distillery has a modern and extensive infrastructure with 28 stills capable of producing up to 10 million liters of spirits per year, making it the largest distillery in Scotland. Glenfiddich belongs to the family group William Grant & Sons, also owner of the Balvenie distillery, as well as prestigious brands such as the Grant's blend, the iconic Hendrick's Gin, and the famous Drambuie liqueur, thus strengthening its influence in the luxury spirits sector.
