Mizu Shochu - Saga Barley - 35%
The Shochu Mizu is a true Japanese excellence, passionately produced by the renowned distillery Munemasa Shuzo, located in Japan. Founded in 1985, this distillery draws its inspiration from the unique artisanal heritage of the city of Arita, world-famous as the cradle of Japanese porcelain art. For over 120 years, the Munemasa family has upheld the tradition by distilling exceptional beverages. After opening a small brewery and sake shop in Hiroshima, they unfortunately had to close following World War II. Driven by the desire to reconnect with their roots, they settled in Arita, a privileged location for shochu production thanks to its crystal-clear waters and fertile agricultural lands. The Mizu Shochu is crafted using an exclusive traditional Japanese method: a single-pass distillation, ensuring optimal preservation of authentic flavors and incomparable natural aromas, for a refined and delicate tasting experience.
Saga Barley is skillfully made from a noble blend of high-quality barley (67%) and Black Koji rice variety (33%), giving this shochu a rich, balanced, and subtle aromatic profile, ideal for discerning enthusiasts.
