Hunter Laing & Co is a renowned independent whisky bottling company based in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded in 2013, this company emerged from the split of family assets between brothers Fred and Stewart of Douglas Laing & Co, who chose to operate their own independent ventures. Fred Laing, supported by his daughter Cara, and Stewart Laing, with his sons Andrew and Scott, thus created a unique player in the Scottish whisky market. Hunter Laing's prestigious portfolio includes iconic labels such as Old Malt Cask, known for its rare and old malts bottled at 50%, the exclusive Old & Rare series offering exceptional cask-strength single malts, as well as House Of Peers and Sovereign Single Grain. The company also operates a bottling facility in East Kilbride. In 2014, Hunter Laing expanded its catalog with the young Single Malts range Hepburn's Choice and the blend Highland Journey. Responding to the growing demand for peated whiskies, Hunter Laing & Co inaugurated the Ardnahoe distillery in 2018, located on the east coast of Islay island, thus consolidating its position in the prestigious Scottish whisky world.
This exceptional rare edition comes from the famous Laphroaig Distillery, emblematic of the Islay isle, globally recognized for its peated and iodine-rich whiskies. Distilled in 1990, this Laphroaig has undergone an extended aging of 32 years, a testament to rare maturity and complexity. Bottled in 2023, this prestigious cuvée celebrates the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, combining tradition and historic event.
Unique peated tasting, pride of the Isle of Islay.
