Glen Moray is an iconic distillery located in Elgin, in the heart of the prestigious Speyside region in Scotland. Originally, it operated as a brewery under the name Elgin West Brewery before being converted into a distillery in 1897, equipped with two traditional copper stills. After a period of inactivity between 1910 and 1923, it was revived under the management of the MacDonald and Muir families, who also own the famous Glenmorangie distillery. In 1958, the distillery modernized its production with the installation of two new stills, allowing an annual capacity of about 2 million liters of whisky today. In 2008, Glen Moray joined the La Martiniquaise group, thus strengthening its international presence through ancestral know-how combined with a passion for innovation.
This unique expression of Glen Moray has been carefully finished in casks that previously held Saint James agricole rum, from the prestigious Martinique house.
