Bourbon - Blanton's Straight from the Barrel - 66.20%
Blanton’s is an iconic brand of craft Bourbon produced by the prestigious Buffalo Trace Distillery located in the heart of Kentucky, in the United States. Founded in the winter of 1881, the story of Albert Bacon Blanton is closely linked to the very beginnings of American Bourbon. Coming from one of the very first influential Bourbon families, Albert Blanton began his career at the family distillery at the age of 16 as an office clerk. His commitment and innovative vision made him a key figure in the major evolution of Bourbon in the 20th century. Under his leadership, from 1921 to 1952, the distillery experienced spectacular expansion, growing from 44 to 144 buildings, becoming the largest distillery of its time. During this period, Colonel Blanton created an exceptional and unique stock of Bourbon — a private reserve, rigorously selected and aged in the iconic Warehouse H, now renowned for its historic role in Bourbon maturation. Although he passed away in the spring of 1959, Colonel Blanton left a lasting legacy thanks to the exceptional quality of his productions. Launched in 1984, the Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon was the first Bourbon to be marketed as a Single Barrel, marking a milestone in the premium spirits industry.
This exceptional Bourbon was drawn directly from barrel no. 106 on June 25, 2021, carefully stored in the iconic Warehouse H on rack no. 29.
