GLENDRONACH - 21 years - Parliament - 48%
GlenDronach is a renowned Scottish Single Malt, steeped in rich history and highly prized by quality whisky enthusiasts. It is produced in the charming village of Forgue, near Huntly, in the heart of Aberdeenshire, an iconic region of the Scottish Highlands. The distillery, an integral part of whisky heritage, was founded in 1826 when James Allardice added the facility to the ancestral Glen House, built in 1771. Throughout its existence, GlenDronach has undergone several ownership changes before being incorporated in 1960 into the Teacher and Sons group, known for its renowned blends. The distillery temporarily ceased production in 1996 before being revived in 2001 under Allied Distillers. In 2006, it joined the Chivas Brothers family, a subsidiary of Pernod-Ricard, then in 2008 was acquired by the Benriach Distillery Company. Finally, in 2016, the Brown-Forman group, a global leader in spirits, became its main shareholder, thus consolidating its international presence.
GlenDronach Parliament is an exceptional whisky aged for 21 years in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, bringing richness and aromatic complexity. Its iconic name refers to the colony of crows ("Parliament") nesting in the trees surrounding the distillery for over two centuries, a living symbol of tradition and authenticity.
