Loch Lomond - Single Grain - 46%
The Loch Lomond Distillery is located in Alexandria, in the heart of the magnificent Highlands region of Scotland, famous for its grand landscapes and rich whisky heritage. Founded in 1966 through a unique partnership between Duncan Thomas, an American owner of the legendary Littlemill distillery (now closed), and Barton Brands, a Chicago company, it embodies innovation and tradition. After a closure period during the whisky industry crisis in 1984, it was bought by Inver House and then sold to Glen Catrine Bonded Warehouse Ltd in 1986. Since then, Loch Lomond has been recognized as the most flexible and innovative distillery in Scotland, mastering various distillation techniques. In 2014, it joined the prestigious Loch Lomond group. Its whisky is internationally famous, notably as the favorite drink of Captain Haddock in the famous Tintin comics.
