DRUMSHANBO - Single Pot Still - Pinot Noir Expression - 46%

The Shed Distillery is located on the edge of a picturesque lake in Drumshanbo, the heart of the Irish region renowned for its artisanal expertise. PJ and Denise Rigney, true passionate artisans, lead a dedicated team of innovative distillers who boldly explore local wild grains, the rich Irish flora, and exotic plants from around the world. The Shed has five exceptional copper stills: three dedicated to producing authentic Irish whiskey, two devoted to the famous Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, as well as two copper column stills specialized in making Sausage Tree Pure Irish vodka. These unique stills, specially designed and manufactured by Arnold Holstein in Germany, were carefully imported to Drumshanbo to ensure unmatched quality and precision in every distillation.

Drumshanbo Single Pot Still is meticulously triple distilled at The Shed Distillery, harmoniously combining malted Irish barley, unmalted barley, and Irish Barra oats, a unique blend that gives this whiskey exceptional aromatic richness and depth. Its aging in red wine barrels that previously held Burgundy Pinot Noir imparts elegant and fruity notes, enhancing each sip with long-lasting complexity in taste and flavor.
