Hysope is a French brand of artisan Tonic and Ginger Beer, certified organic, recognized for its commitment to natural ingredients and traditional craftsmanship. Founded in 2019 by Mériadec Buchmuller, the brand draws its inspiration from an initiatory journey in 2015, when he walked to Kerala, in southwestern India, via the legendary "spice route." This unique sensory experience gave birth to the distinct Hysope range, combining authenticity and quality. The brand's offices are based in Bordeaux, while bottling takes place near Cognac. The printing is located in Brittany, and the flavors are rigorously selected in Grasse, the historic heart of perfumery in Provence. The main ingredient, hyssop, is a French plant with blue, violet, or white flowers, symbolizing naturalness and excellence. The quinine essential for the production of the Tonics comes from Cayenne, in French Guiana, ensuring an intense and pure flavor.
The artisan Ginger Beer is made from organic ginger imported from India, bringing an earthy and rooty flavor, complemented by a peppery and subtly spicy finish. Its natural composition makes it an ideal partner to accompany dark spirits, whiskies, and very aromatic gins, enhancing their flavors with finesse.
