EX LIBRIS - Knappogue Castle 1994 - The Happy Prince - Bottled in 2021 - 50.30%
La Maison du Whisky presents its first collection entirely dedicated to exceptional whiskies on an international scale: Ex Libris . For this inaugural edition, the essential Irish Distillers unveil three Irish Single Malts from the 1994, 1995 and 1996 vintages , bottled under the famous Knappogue Castle brand. The Ex Libris range is also enriched with a remarkably aged 22-year-old Canadian Rye Whisky . Inspired by a captivating literary universe , the collection features labels evoking the covers of great masterpieces of world literature, each expression referring to an emblematic work from its country of origin. Thus, the Irish whiskies pay homage to the famous short stories of the illustrious writer Oscar Wilde, while the Canadian whisky is inspired by the novel "Son of a Smaller Hero" by the Anglo-Canadian writer Mordecai Richler.
Knappogue Castle "The Happy Prince" is an exceptional single malt, distilled in 1994 and patiently aged for 27 years . Produced through triple distillation , this whisky benefited from aging in a single bourbon cask ( #888139), resulting in only 175 exclusive bottles , now available at Clos des Spiritueux .
Unpeated - A rare expression to discover at Clos des Spiritueux, specialist in exceptional spirits and rare whiskies.
