GlenDronach is an exceptional Single Malt, renowned for its rich history and authentic taste, produced in the charming village of Forgue, near Huntly, in the heart of Aberdeenshire in the prestigious Scottish Highlands. The main house, Glen House, was built in 1771, while the distillery was founded in 1826 by the visionary James Allardice. Throughout its existence, the GlenDronach distillery has undergone several ownership changes before being integrated in 1960 into the Teacher and Sons group, famous for its popular blends. After a period of dormancy in 1996, the distillery was revived in 2001 under Allied Distillers, then joined the Pernod-Ricard group via Chivas Brothers in 2006, before being acquired in 2008 by the Benriach Distillery Company. This group, which also includes Glengassaugh, was bought by the American giant Brown-Forman in 2016, thus ensuring international quality and reputation.

The GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 9 is a rare and powerful whisky, matured exclusively in exceptional Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks, offering a deep aromatic palette rich in notes of dried fruits, spices, and dark chocolate.
