SILVER SEAL - Enmore 32 years old - 1977 - 64.4%

Silver Seal is an Italian brand of independent bottling of whisky and rum, renowned for its meticulous selection. Distributed by Massimo Righi, the visionary director of the company Whisky Antique, this brand excels in presenting rare whiskies and exceptional rums. Their prestigious range highlights the richness of the finest Scottish whiskies as well as authentic Caribbean rums, offering connoisseurs unique expressions from carefully chosen casks.

The Enmore distillery, emblematic of Guyanese rum production, definitively closed its doors in 1993 following the privatization by the Guyanese government of sugar plantations and local distilleries. Its wooden double-column still, a true technical gem, was carefully transferred to the Diamond distillery, which is part of the renowned Demerara Distillers group. This transfer ensures the continuity of ancestral know-how and the preservation of the authentic flavors of Enmore rum.
