Founded in 1826 by the visionary James Allardice, the Glen House distillery is an emblem of traditional Scottish whisky. Over the centuries, the distillery has experienced several ownership changes, including Teacher and Sons in 1960, before a production pause in 1996. After its revival by Allied Distillers in 2001, it joined the Pernod-Ricard group via Chivas Brothers in 2006, before being acquired by the Benriach Distillery Company in 2008. Since 2016, GlenDronach has been part of the prestigious Brown-Forman group, ensuring unmatched quality and expertise.
