Awen Nature - White Absinthe
The Awen Nature Distillery is located in La Bouëxiѐre, in Brittany, a region rich in artisanal and natural traditions. Founded in 2013 by Julien Fanny, this distillery fully embodies the values of eco-responsible and sustainable production. The term "Nature" in its name reflects the distillery's strong commitment to environmental respect and the preservation of natural resources. Indeed, sustainability is at the heart of every stage of production: Julien favors recyclable materials and biodegradable or recycled packaging to minimize ecological impact. In an exemplary approach, he even makes deliveries of his spirits by bicycle, especially for the city of Rennes and its surroundings. All Awen Nature products benefit from a rigorous organic certification, with carefully selected plants exclusively from organic farming, mostly grown in the immediate vicinity of the distillery to guarantee freshness and authentic flavors.
The artisanal process begins with the maceration of these plants in organic grain alcohol for two days, an optimal time to extract all the flavors. This is followed by traditional distillation, carried out with know-how passed down from generation to generation, without any addition of artificial colorings or preservatives. Each spirit is thus crafted according to ancestral recipes and traditional production methods, ensuring unmatched quality and authenticity. The labels, original works by the Breton artist Gwladys Rose, draw inspiration from Celtic legends.
