Pécharmant is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc grown on a flinty red clay terroir. Each grape variety is vinified separately. Maceration is gentle and lasts 20 to 30 days. The 12-month aging process is carried out in old barrels (50%) and stainless steel vats (50%) , then the final blend is left to rest in concrete vats.
Grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
"The 2022 Pécharmant delivers a sincere expression of the terroir: a nose of black fruits, damp earth, bay leaf, and sweet pepper. The controlled aging lets the fruit speak without masking it. A wine that is old-fashioned in spirit, modern in attitude."
