Founded in 1987, this prestigious house was born from the passion of Thomas E. Bulleit Jr., who decided to carry on an exceptional family recipe dating back to the 19th century. Inspired by the heritage of his great-great-grandfather Augustus Bulleit, a high-rye whiskey maker between 1830 and 1860, Thomas left a successful legal career to revive this ancestral bourbon craft.
