The production of this exceptional tequila begins in the vast blue agave plantations located on the fertile slopes of the Tequila volcano in Mexico. After an optimal growth period of seven years, the agave plants are hand-harvested, their hearts, called piñas, carefully extracted before being transferred to the La Rojeña distillery. On site, the piñas are slowly roasted, then crushed and pressed to extract a rich and aromatic juice. This juice is then fermented in large vats before being precisely distilled and aged in toasted barrels, ensuring a unique depth and complexity in every bottle.
