Blanton’s is an iconic premium Bourbon brand, proudly produced by the prestigious Buffalo Trace Distillery located in the heart of Kentucky, United States, the historic birthplace of quality Bourbon. Founded in 1870, this distillery is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and traditional production methods. Albert Bacon Blanton, born in the winter of 1881 into one of the pioneering families linked to the birth of Bourbon, embodies the heritage and excellence of this iconic spirit. At the age of 16, he joined the family distillery as an office boy and, through his passion and vision, revolutionized Bourbon production. Becoming president in 1921, he expanded the distillery from 44 to 144 buildings, making Buffalo Trace the largest distillery of its time. During his tenure, Colonel Blanton established a very special and limited selection of Bourbon – his private reserve, carefully selected and stored in the famous Warehouse H, now an institution among connoisseurs. He passed away in the spring of 1959, but his prestigious legacy endures to this day. Launched in 1984, Blanton’s is recognized as the first Single Barrel Bourbon marketed and remains an essential symbol of quality and refinement.
This exceptional Bourbon was drawn from barrel no. 106 on June 25, 2021, with optimal aging in the iconic Warehouse H, on Rick no. 29, ensuring a unique and intense aromatic profile. It is bottled at a remarkable strength of 66.2% ABV, offering a powerful and authentic tasting experience, appreciated by discerning enthusiasts and demanding collectors.
