Blanton’s is an iconic high-end Bourbon brand produced by the prestigious Buffalo Trace Distillery located in the heart of Kentucky, the historic birthplace of Bourbon in the United States. Founded on an exceptional family heritage, Albert Bacon Blanton was born in the winter of 1881 into one of the first influential Bourbon families. At the age of 16, he joined the family business as an office boy, quickly becoming a key pioneer in the art and science of Bourbon distillation. Under his leadership, from 1921 until his retirement in 1952, the distillery expanded remarkably, growing from 44 to 144 buildings, establishing itself as the largest distillery of its time.
During this crucial period, Colonel Blanton created an exclusive and limited stock of exceptional Bourbon, his private reserve, rigorously selected and aged in the legendary Warehouse H. Although Colonel Blanton passed away in the spring of 1959, his legacy endures through this exceptional Bourbon. Launched in 1984, Blanton’s Single Barrel was the very first Single Barrel Bourbon ever marketed worldwide, revolutionizing the premium spirits market.
This exclusive edition is available only at La Maison du Whisky within the prestigious Conquest range. The Bourbon comes directly from barrel number 328, taken on August 26, 2021, and has been meticulously aged in Warehouse H, on Rick number 34, ensuring a unique and refined aromatic profile. Bottled at a powerful 50% ABV, this Bourbon offers a perfect balance between intensity and aromatic complexity, ideal for the most demanding enthusiasts.
