Blanton’s is an iconic brand of artisanal Bourbon, produced by the prestigious Buffalo Trace Distillery located in the heart of Kentucky, United States. Founded in a region renowned for its unique heritage in Bourbon making, this brand embodies American excellence and authenticity. In the winter of 1881, Albert Bacon Blanton was born into one of the first influential Bourbon families. At just 16 years old, he started as an office boy in the family distillery before becoming a major pioneer in the evolution and development of this traditional spirit. From his appointment as president in 1921 until his retirement in 1952, his vision and expertise allowed the distillery to grow from 44 to 144 buildings, becoming one of the largest of its time. During this flourishing period, Colonel Blanton created an exclusive and limited stock of Bourbon – a private reserve carefully selected and aged in what is now known as the famous Warehouse H. Although the Colonel passed away in the spring of 1959, his legacy endures through premium spirits. Launched in 1984, Blanton’s was the first Single Barrel Bourbon available commercially, revolutionizing the way this unique spirit is enjoyed.
