Clos des Spiritueux is a prestigious Bourbon brand crafted by the renowned Buffalo Trace Distillery located in the heart of Kentucky, United States. Since the winter of 1881, the year of the birth of Albert Bacon Blanton, an iconic figure from one of the first families of Bourbon experts, this distillery has upheld exceptional expertise. At just 16 years old, Albert Blanton began as an office boy and transformed the family distillery into a major Bourbon player. Under his leadership, starting in 1921, the company expanded from 44 to 144 buildings, becoming the largest distillery of its time. It was during this period that Colonel Blanton created his exclusive private reserve, a rare and carefully selected Bourbon, stored in the famous Warehouse H. Although the Colonel passed away in the spring of 1959, his legacy continues through the Bourbon Single Barrel Clos des Spiritueux, launched in 1984 as the first Single Barrel Bourbon ever marketed worldwide.

This exceptional Bourbon was specially chosen by La Maison du Whisky to join the prestigious French Connections range. It comes from barrel no. 455, taken on September 9, 2020. Carefully aged in Warehouse H on rick no. 7, it is bottled at a remarkable strength of 64.9%, ensuring an intense and authentic tasting experience.
