ROZELIEURES - Finition HSE- 43%
Whisky G Rozelieures is a French whisky, aged and distilled in Lorraine by the Grallet Dupic Distillery. The Grallet-Dupic family has been owner-grower for 5 generations. They cultivate their barley themselves on naturally rich lands. All Rozelieures whiskies are Single Malt and they are the first distillery in France to work peaty malts. Faithful to the ancestral tradition, the whiskies are double-distilled and then aged in oak barrels from local forests. They can also use barrels that have contained wines and spirits from Kentucky, Sherry, Burgundy, the Rhône Valley and the Southwest.
The "Finition HSE" is the result of a collaboration with the HSE (Habitation Saint Etienne) rum distillery in Martinique. The whisky is first aged in Bourbon and Cognac barrels, then spent 18 months in HSE rum barrels.
