SANTA TERESA 1796 - Exceptional Aged Rum - 40%
To celebrate the bicentennial of the Hacienda in 1996, Alberto Vollmer Herrera, a member of the 4th generation of a passionate lineage, set an ambitious challenge for the family business: to create an exceptional rum capable of reflecting all the expertise and know-how accumulated over the first 200 years. Santa Teresa 1796 is a premium rum that is both bold and elegant, the result of a meticulous blend of rums aged up to 35 years in American oak (bourbon) barrels, then enhanced by the artisanal Solera method. This double maturation gives the rum a unique texture, both dry, smooth, and perfectly balanced, ideal for connoisseurs and discerning enthusiasts.
Passed down from Maestro to Maestro, thanks to the ancestral Solera method, each bottle of Santa Teresa 1796 contains a precious "juice" from the very first barrel of 1796, the original cask that has never been emptied. Indeed, with each bottling, the barrel is refilled with slightly younger rum, thus ensuring continuity and incomparable aromatic richness, the signature of this luxury rum.
Repeatedly awarded as the "best rum in the world," Santa Teresa 1796 represents the excellence of aged rum and is an essential reference for passionate enthusiasts and collectors.
