EGIAZKI – Patxaka – Artisanal Apple and Anise Liqueur – 25%
Based in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle , in the heart of the Basque Country , the Egiazki house designs artisanal spirits rooted in local tradition. The adventure begins with twin brothers Camille and Benjamin Fourt Arteaga , determined to control every stage of the manufacturing process. To produce their famous Patxaran , they themselves planted 825 blackthorn trees in Navarre . Driven by this demand for quality, they specialize in Basque liqueurs , combining traditional know-how and contemporary creation . Their collection is gradually expanding with references such as Manzana , Patxaka , Jinkoa and Menta , all resulting from close work with local producers and a constant concern for authentic taste .
Patxaka is a fruit liqueur made using an artisanal process: a three-month maceration of wild apples from the Basque Country in an aniseed-flavored alcohol , for a delicate and unique result.
"Patxaka seduces with its supple texture, its aromatic elegance and its subtly spicy finish, with almost peppery accents. A little Basque nod: enjoy it chilled with sheep's milk cheese... or play the originality card with a green apple sorbet!"
