Château de Beaulon is located in Charente-Maritime , in the heart of the Saintonge region. Since 1965, it has been owned by Christian Thomas , who undertook extensive restoration work and obtained its registration as a historic monument in 1987. The estate is also renowned for its "Fontaines bleues", artesian springs with striking turquoise blue waters, located in a 13-hectare park classified as a "Remarkable Garden". Château de Beaulon is renowned for its Pineau des Charentes , a liqueur wine made by blending grape must and cognac.

This Pineau des Charentes Blanc Vieille Réserve is aged for 10 years in oak barrels .
