Domaine Bernard Defaix - Chablis Grand Cru - Vaudesir 2022

Domaine Bernard Defaix is located in Chablis , in Burgundy. It was founded in 1959 by Bernard Defaix and is now managed by his sons Sylvain and Didier Defaix . The estate has 27 hectares of vineyards, in the Chablis Premier Cru appellations (Côte de Lechet, Vaillons and Lys), Chablis and Petit Chablis. The vines are grown in certified organic farming .

Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir comes from a vine whose average age is 35 years, located between Valmur and Preuses on steeper terrain, less limestone and a little lighter than the other Grands Crus. Fermentation and aging are carried out in oak barrels with regular stirring. Aging lasts 18 months .

Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay
