HYSOPE - Cucumber Tonic Water - Organic
Hysope is a French brand renowned for its artisan tonics and ginger beers, all certified organic. Founded in 2019 by Mériadec Buchmuller, the company draws its inspiration from a formative journey in 2015: hitchhiking from Paris along the legendary "spice route," he reached Kerala, in southwestern India. This unique sensory experience gave birth to the Hysope range. The offices are based in Bordeaux, bottling takes place near Cognac, label printing is done in Brittany, while the aromas are carefully selected in Grasse, Provence, the European capital of perfumes. The key ingredient used is hyssop, a French plant with delicate blue, violet, or white flowers. The quinine, essential for making tonics, comes from Cayenne in French Guiana, ensuring absolute quality and authenticity.
The cucumber tonic is specially designed to soften the natural bitterness of juniper found in gin. Its subtle freshness pairs perfectly with gins that have herbal notes as well as classic London Dry gins. It also proves to be an excellent companion to Tequila, offering a refined and balanced tasting experience.
