That Boutique-y Rum Company is a unique concept from the independent British merchant Maverick Drinks, based in Kent. Specialized in careful selection, this supplier offers rare and exclusive bottlings from all over the world, dedicated to discerning lovers of exceptional rums. Thanks to close collaboration with passionate experts, its mission is to travel the world in search of unique and confidential rum casks, often from distilleries that have disappeared or have been closed for several years. Each label is a work of art, hand-drawn and inspired by cartoon style, thus highlighting the authenticity and uniqueness of these rare spirits.

This exceptional edition (Batch 8) comes from the famous Caroni Distillery. Founded in 1918 in the state of Trinidad & Tobago, the Caroni Distillery is a true legend in the world of rums. Following government policy and the severe crisis of the sugar industry in 2002, this emblematic distillery was unfortunately forced to close its doors. This closure increased the rarity and value of its productions, giving these rums an exceptionally atypical and mythical character. This vintage was distilled in January 1998. Although the precise history of its maturation is not verifiable, this rum benefited from careful finishing by That Boutique-y Rum Company in 2017 in recycled rum casks. This exclusive cuvée is limited to only 332 bottles, making each bottle an essential collector's item for knowledgeable enthusiasts.
