Saké - TAKENO - Nishiki Kurabu - Modern - 15.70%
\nSaké is the most iconic traditional alcoholic beverage of Japan, globally recognized for its finesse and diversity. Produced from high-quality rice, this refined drink comes in many styles and flavors, varying according to specific brewing techniques, the careful selection of ingredients, and the degree of rice polishing which directly influences the purity and complexity of the saké.
\nThe Takeno House, established in 1864 in Kyoto Prefecture, Kyotango, is a historic reference in the art of saké. Originally located near a temple, the house was unfortunately destroyed during the war. It was in 1947 that Takeno House was reborn thanks to the merger of four Sakaguras (breweries) that had been closed until then, perpetuating an authentic and ancestral know-how.
\nThis cuvée was carefully selected for Clos des Spiritueux as part of its prestigious Conquête range. It is made with Yamada Nishiki rice, known as the "king of saké rice," polished to 50% to ensure exceptional quality, thus offering a perfect balance between sweetness and aromatic finesse.
