Gadyamb is an artisanal brand of arranged rums, carefully crafted by Etienne and Julien. These two enthusiasts met in 1999 in Saint Joseph, in the beautiful southern region of Réunion Island. After leaving the island to pursue higher education in mainland France, they decided in 2018 to put their respective careers on hold – media consultant for one, chef for the other – to realize a project simmered during the long mainland winters: Les Arrangés Gadyamb. Their distinctive expertise is based on three essential pillars to guarantee exceptional quality: trusted partners – committed producers respectful of the land and local traditions –, a rigorous selection of ingredients, with fruits picked at perfect ripeness, cut and macerated by hand to preserve all their natural flavors, and a unique maceration method, combining long barrel maceration before filtration, ensuring a stable final product, free of impurities and rich in aromatic complexity.
Zoreol is the result of an exclusive collaboration with the association Clos des Spiritueux, a recognized reference in the world of exceptional rums. For this special edition, Gadyamb subtly marries the flavors of the Réunion terroir with the riches of the Aquitaine terroir. Thus, the Guariguette strawberry, carefully cultivated at Jardin Grenadine in Sainte Eulalie, enhances the recipe, while the fresh basil comes from the legendary Capucins market in Bordeaux. The vetyver, an emblematic plant of Réunion, along with the traditional rum, complete this delightful transoceanic journey to offer a harmonious blend, rich in aromas and authenticity.
